Madara Cosmetics is the largest producer of natural cosmetics in Latvia. In order to prevent delivery errors, it was necessary to digitize work in the warehouse and develop a warehouse IT system.

End result

• Administration part – the system reads deliveries to be made from Horizon software. The warehouse manager distributes the work to the warehouse workers and sees the progress of the work. Collected order data are fed back into the Horizon software. It is also possible to book batches of goods for specific customers.
• Android application – each employee sees the tasks assigned to him/her and the goods to be collected. When a product is scanned with a finger bar code scanner, the application warns, thus reducing errors in the collection of goods – the system allows collecting only the intended goods. It is also possible to carry out a warehouse inventory.

Benefits

• Warehouse inventory time has been reduced 3 times;
• It is clearly visible how much each of the employees has worked;
• A history is visible for each collection of delivered goods;
• The issue of incorrect product batches in the order has been resolved.
